This bible has everything I was looking for to give my husband as a birthday gift.

There are introductions in the front of every book that tells you the author of the book, time it was written, who it was written to, and a basic overview of what it's about. I've studied a bit of Hebrew and Greek and the NIV is my favorite translation by far. The steel and blue are very complimentary, and give it a very masculine feel. He is going to love this bible! 5 Stars. (Posted on 9/12/2014)
