What child does not love to receive mail? What if that child could receive, open and read his or her own personal mail from God? The Little Love Letters from God board book will invite them to do just that! Accompanying each of the eight stories in this unique children’s Bible is a very special and encouraging letter tucked away in its own lift-the-flap envelope. With a padded cover for little hands, Little Love Letters from God introduces children to God’s Word with eight of the most popular Bible stories—including creation, Noah’s ark, the birth of Jesus and more. Following each story the child will find his or her own letter from God. Children will love the excitement of opening the letters and parents will love how each letter elaborates on the Bible story being told. A very special Bible verse, entitled God’s Wonderful Words To You will accompany each story and letter. Much more than a mere memory verse, each carefully chosen promise will be God’s very own personal words of love, encouragement, and hope.

A little over a year ago 'Love Letters from God' came out and I reviewed it and told you how much I really liked it. I shared it with my older grandchildren and we enjoyed reading and discussing the content. Unfortunately it just wasn't suitable for the littlest grands. The flaps would have easily torn and we would have all been sad so I didn't share it with them.

I'm happy to tell you that 'Little Love Letters from God' has the wonderful essence of the original but it is perfectly designed for those sweet little hands to engage with the content. The same eight stories are included but Glenys has turned them into rhyminc poems that are short and sweet and capture the attention span of little ones. The beautiful illustrations from Sophie are also simplified but they are every bit as darling as the originals. Each story is from the Bible and reinforces just how much God loves his little children. Just like the original each letter can be customized for your special little one.

If you enjoyed 'Love Letters from God' with your older children I think you will enjoy 'Little Love Letters from God' for your younger children. I'm so glad that we have copies of both because you can never share too much about how much God loves His children.

I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review. (Posted on 1/6/2016)

This beautiful book will be one to treasure. Glenys Nellist poems tell the Bible stories in a lovely way. Each of the little letters speak to the soul and will be valuable teaching tools for the person sharing this wonderful book. British artist, Sophie Allsopp's illustrations are outstanding. The techniques she uses add a whimsical and delightful element to the pages. I love this book, and I think you will, too.
I received this book in exchange for a fair review. (Posted on 12/30/2015)

My children have always loved getting mail. Who doesn't? It makes them feel special. Little do they know that when you get to be an adult--it doesn't make you feel all that special to get a bill. But I digress. Who doesn't want to know that God delights in His children. The author has written several books on the subject and my son absolutely loves them. He reads the Bible stories included in the board book and lifts the flap included in each to find his love letter directly from God.

Each Bible story is chosen so delicately yet so perfect to teach our little ones beginning with preschool age that God has made everything perfect in His sight including them. Backed by scripture and a short summary of several Bible stories such as David and Goliath and the story of Jonah just to name a few. With 18 pages and this book is a board book---so short and sweet and a great book for bedtime!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. (Posted on 12/26/2015)

I really enjoyed Love Letters from God so I was thrilled to see there was a new version for the little ones called appropriately Little Love Letters from God! It's the same idea as the first book but for toddlers.

I fear that love letters will soon be a thing of the past thanks to technology but I hope that isn't so! Some things should never be phased out.

This is a hard bound but soft covered book with the rounded corners perfect for toddlers. The pages are thick and hard like a board book but they also have fun pop up love letters on each page.

It begins with a Bible story and includes eight and then it has something called "your little love letter from God" in which it ties the story in personally to your child. There is even a space to fill in their name to make it even more personal.

It's funny how something as simple as a lift the flap can be so magical to kids but it really is! If the same words were written on the page without lifting the flap, it just wouldn't have the same effect! My older kids really enjoy reading this book and lifting the flaps as much as their little brother!

The Little Love Letters from God is a wonderful book and the sweetest love letter your child will ever receive! (Posted on 12/22/2015)
