Grand Rapids, Mich., Aug. 2019 – Zondervan Reflective, in partnership with White Sail Films, is proud to announce the release of it’s first-ever documentary, Searching for God: Is There Any Reason to Believe in God Today?
Searching for God explores the different ideas within American culture that have shaped our understanding of who God is. With a combination of man-on-the-street interviews and insights from today’s top Christion thinkers and apologists, director and narrator Brandon McQuire, dives into the heady issues that impact our view of God and Christianity— for better or worse.
Featured scholars including Lee Strobel, William Lane Craig, Gary Habermas, J. Warner Wallace, Nabeel Qureshi and Paul Copan, address questions like: What is Christianity? What are some of the ideas that have influenced the way people think about it? And is there any evidence for God?
Most significantly, Searching for God examines the central event in the Christian story, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The resurrection is a historical claim, testable by evidence. So how credible is it?
Following a documentary style that sets it apart from other video products, Searching for God is broken up into a six-unit study so viewers can engage more deeply with the content of the film. Each unit features a 10-to-15 minute section of video and provides Scriptures to support the truths within the video as well as further insights and quotations from the scholars in the video.
