- Review by The IE Mommy
What I didn't expect was for this to make me so emotional! It basically goes through a child's life and all of the milestones along the way like crawling, standing, playing sports, driving, college etc. It made me think of my kids that are quickly growing going through all of these stages of life. Some they already have and some are in the not so distant future.
I'm an emotional mom when it comes to my kids and this is such a beautiful book that talks about all the things they experience in life and what they may in the future. Childhood is such a beautiful thing but it is short and fleeting. I love the ages my four and five year olds are where everything is a big dream and they just know they can do anything they set their minds to.
My kids loved the pictures and the rhyming part of the book. I loved the emotion and nostalgia for what's already passed it made me feel. I love to dream along with my kids and Whatever you Grow up to Be is a beautiful tribute to just that! (Posted on 2/20/14)
