Overall Rating
I absolutely LOVE this Bible! The insets of historical information are worth their own book, and the footnotes explaining referenced concepts are invaluable! I've never understood the Bible at the depth and with the realism that I do now. This wonderful work brings alive the culture of the people who lived during each time period referenced in the Bible. Book introductions offer an additional layer of realism and history to each and every book of the Bible. It's an investment, but one you won't regret. During Bible study now, I'm able to answer questions with more info than just a flat answer. Several members have subsequently bought this Bible too now. (Posted on 4/24/14)
