Alfred Kuen, eminent and famous European theologian, was born in France. He started his education in the École Normale des Instituteurs at Strasbourg and continued it in 1939 at Périgueux. That same year he started his theological education and also started working on a synopsis of different versions of the Bible. That synopsis was later published under the name of «La Bible du Semeur». In 1976 he was asked to become a professor in the «Institut Biblique et Missionaire Emmaüs». He worked afterwards in theological investigation, besides teaching at the «Faculté de Théologie Évangélique de Vaux sur Seine» and the Faculty of Free Theology at Basle. He has been the President of the Counsel for the «European Evangelical Association of Theological Institutions».
Alfred Kuen has authored numerous books that have been translated to several languages. Among them stand out his scholarly Introductions to the New Testament and his Commentaries to the Gospels and to the Book of Acts, Paul’s Epistles, the Universal Epistles and the Book of Revelation.
