Shares stories of real people and how they experienced God's grace in their lives.
Using these real people and real stories, this book shows how God's grace is for everyone; no matter what we have done.
Each chapter ends with two questions in the "Face-to-Face with Grace" section which helps focus children from the story about a real person to how God's grace looks in their own lives.

I love how Case for Grace for Kids shares real stories of real people and how they experienced God's grace and then connects it to the child reading the book. This could make a great book for families to read through together before or after Resurrection Sunday as it is sure to generate some great conversations about God's amazing grace! Lee Strobel has rewritten this book perfectly for middle school students. Alyssa, my 11 year old, read it. She does not enjoy reading but I would find her around the house with this book. It’s standard orders around here that she has to read at least one chapter from a book every day. This has been conveniently forgotten more times than I care to remember. But with The Case for Grace for Kids, she remembered and she read. Alyssa did think that some of the chapters were very long. For students that don’t enjoy reading, I could see how that could be a deterrent. Overall though, she enjoyed the book. The stories and messages are clearly written and understandable for this age. Don’t let this book fool you…it is not just for kids. I struggle with God’s grace in some way almost every day trying to explain to others what grace is. Although I basically read this to encourage my tween-age granddaughter to read it, I came away with a better understanding on how to explain how grace works. Mr. Strobel took interesting stories of people with grace at work and put them in simple everyday language, making it easy for kids (and adults) to understand. While reading these stories, my heart was touched by their hardships, but when they realized grace was at work in their lives, my heart rejoiced. All I can say is… please take the time to share this book with your children. It is truly a book of grace…and the plan of salvation.

Disclosure: I was given a copy of this Book by the publisher, ZonderKidz, Z Blog Squad for an honest review. I was not required to write a favorable review nor was I compensated for my review. The opinions in this review are my own.
