They Like Jesus but Not the Church: Your Questions Answered

More information about They Like Jesus but Not the Church Can I just buy the DVD since I already have the book?
Yes, however it is recommended that you buy a Participant’s Guide for each person going through the study. The DVD has every video portion that the Curriculum Kit has.

Is the video clip that you showed in the conference included on the DVD?
Yes, there is a 2-minute trailer on the DVD, which is sold separately and is included in the Curriculum Kit.

How can I use this in a teaching series at my church?
If you would like to take your congregation through They Like Jesus but Not the Church, there are a number of tools available on the DVD for you to use. There are sermon outlines for a six-week sermon series, which tie into the six small group sessions. You may also play the video clips from the six sessions. A PowerPoint presentation will be made available that is designed to enhance the teaching. This presentation will be posted on www.theylikejesus.com and included in future editions of the DVD.

Are there the short interviews on the DVD somewhere (not just the full lesson, but the short set-up interviews without Dan in them)?
Yes.

Is this done in such a way so that I can teach a class from this and use the video clips?
Yes.

Can I use the PowerPoint you showed in the workshop or main session to help me teach this material in my church?
Yes. We plan to post it on www.theylikejesus.com as soon as it's available.

What is the study guide? Is that different than the book?
Yes. The study guide (Participant's Guide, as we call it) is different from the They Like Jesus but Not the Church book. It is for a class or small group, or it can even be used as notes for the entire church when teaching a sermon series.

Is the Do You Like Jesus but Not the Church book coming out soon?
It should be releasing in 2009. Be sure to visit www.Zondervan.com for future updates.
