This software is compatible with Windows® 95, 98, 2000, ME and Windows NT®. It is also compatible with Mac OS 8.1 or later (Classic only on OS X).
Q. How can I tell if my computer meets the system requirements listed on this software?
A. PC: There are several things you can tell by right-clicking on the My Computer icon on your desktop and choosing Properties. The resulting screen will show you what kind of computer you have, which version of Windows you are running, and how much RAM you have installed.
If you double-click on My Computer and then right-click on the drive you would like to install the software on and finally choose Properties, the resulting screen will tell you if you have enough hard drive space available.
Mac: There are several things you can tell by going to the Apple menu and choosing About this Computer. On the resulting screen, you will see the OS you are running as well as how much memory you have installed. Other information is also available.
Q. Is there any vocabulary with sound on this CD-ROM like on the Basics of Biblical Greek CD-ROM?
A. There is no vocabulary with sound on this CD-ROM v. 1.0. There is vocabulary with sound on the version 1.1 CD. Instructions are on the screen that comes up when you put in the CD, under the Flashworks button.
Q. I have both the Basics of Biblical Hebrew CD and the Basics of Biblical Greek CD. Why can't I install them both at the same time?
A. They both install to the same place, so whichever one you install second overwrites the first. To correct, install the first one and keep all the defaults. When you install the second one, tell it to install to C:/program files/Teknia Greek (or Hebrew, whichever one you are doing) and for the program directory, do the same.
