John H. Sailhammer (Ph.D., UCLA) is professor of Old Testament at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Brea, California, and was formerly senior professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  His other works include An Introduction to Old Testament Theology and the NIV Compact Bible Commentary.

Exodus:
Walter C. Kaiser Jr. (Ph.D., Brandeis University) is the Colman M. Mockler distinguished professor of Old Testament and a former president of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts.  Dr. Kaiser has written numerous books, including The Promise-Plan of God: A Biblical Theology of the Old and New Testaments; The Messiah in the Old Testament; and A History of Israel.

Leviticus:
Richard S. Hess (Ph.D., Hebrew Union College) is professor of Old Testament and Semetic Languages at Denver Seminary.  He edits the Bulletin for Biblcal Research, a leading evangelical biblcal studies journal, and is author of a commentary on Song of Songs in the Baker Old Testament commentary series.
