Zondervan offers ebooks for Adobe Reader, Microsoft Reader, eReader (Palm), Mobipocket Reader, Amazon Kindle, and Sony Reader Digital Book. With the exception of the Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader, which are portable devices, each offers their reader software as a free download at their site. You may look at the choices above and ask, "Which is the one for me?" The one for you depends on the type of computer you have and the device you want to use for reading ebooks. You may want to follow each of the links above and read the posted system requirements for each reader program.

A Word of Caution
With one exception, ebook formats are not compatible with each other. This is very important to understand. If you are using eReader, for example, you can only read Palm format ebooks in eReader. You cannot read Adobe, Microsoft, Sony, Kindle, or Mobipocket format ebooks in eReader.

The ePub format is designed to be compatible across readers and devices, but is currently only supported by a limited number (Sony Reader Digital Book to name one). If you're considering the ePub format, make sure your device or reader supports the ePub format before you purchase, and that you have the necessary software or firmware updates for your reader or device.

Finally, we ask you to understand that Adobe, Microsoft, Palm, Sony, Amazon, and Mobipocket are each responsible for the development and technical support of their reader programs and devices. In other words, if you experience difficulty downloading, installing, or using a reader program or device, we ask you to direct your questions to the developer of the reader software or device. Although we'd love to help you dive into our ebooks, we lack the capability to support reader programs and devices developed outside of Zondervan.
