Last year . . . I . . purchased your NIV Study Bible, 10th Anniversary Edition personal size. Immediately I fell in love with it and knew I had made the right choice. The study notes, introductions and other resources proved to be not only informative and helpful but conveniently located where they would be the most help. The charts listed throughout have made subject studies much easier and also helped our women's team become winners in a local “Bible Jeopardy” fundraiser. I own the Zondervan NIV Study Bible (soft cover) and I also have the downloaded version on my p.c. This is by far the best Bible I've ever owned. One of my favorite features is the "in-text study notes," to help me obtain a more in-depth description of certain verses. I would also like to have that for my computer NIV. I love my downloaded NIV Bible! Helps me seek GOD and constantly learn more of his word! Thank you so very much!!!

Hello. Greetings in the Lord.

I love your NIV Study Bible. I have been reading it daily since 1997. The study notes are excellent. They provide much background and insight.

I feel the Biblical interpretation in the Study Notes is done in a fair manner with words used like probably, perhaps, maybe, most likely, etc. indicating uncertainty on disputable matters. Also differing interpretations are given when appropriate. I feel this is essential to keeping the Study Notes unbiased.

If the Study Notes were to state that the Bible definitely should be interpreted in a certain way when the matter is disputable, I think the Study Notes would start to be biased.

New International Version

I had been a King James enthusiast for years. Recently, however, we relocated to a different city and began attending a church of over 3000 whose pastors preach and teach from the New International Version, and my family is now "hooked"! We can't believe how much the Word of God has come alive to us since we switched to the NIV . . . Since that time, we have each purchased copies of the NIV Bibles and New testaments. The Bible in 90 Days

My name is Alexis,I had read the Bible before in sections but never like this. 12 pages a day in 90 days. When I finished the OT the Awe of God overwhelmed me, by His great power He made the heavens and the earth and nothing is to difficult for Him the only true and living God. What became clear to me was Gods love for His creation, people and the great lengths and care He took in preparing a place for them before He bought them forth. He left no need without a provision down to a need for a Savior. I cried like a baby when I finished reading (in 88 days actually) the bible in 90 days. I wept for so many reasons, my sin, His love, my need, His provision, His return, my being with Him forever. God bless you for your obedience to birth the vision of the Bible in 90 days. The truth is I got more out of reading the bible in 90 days than I did reading the purpose driven life because reading the Bible kept my focus on Him. His will, His way, hearing and obeying Him than on me. My goal now is to read trough the bible again in 90 days before the year is out.

This evening, my husband and I were browsing at a bookstore looking for nothing in particular, but as I turned the corner to another row of shelves, I spotted about a dozen shelves of bibles. Something told me to go take a closer look... soon I found myself seated on the floor surrounded by all the Thinline boxes I could reach in all these wonderful, bright colors. Totally motivated to read some of the New Testament.Inspired. The one I kept returning to was the daisy-pattern cover and this will become my new favorite. It was purely coincidental, because we had gone into to bookshop without any intentions outside of browsing, and there it was - the perfect Bible. !Thank you! Zondervan designers for helping me re-establish my love of the Bible. I've spent the last 3 hours reviewing various passages and referencing my Bible In A Year calendar (which y'all need to include in future versions of this Thinline series) and I feel revitalized. The print and format is perfect, I can fit it in my purse/briefcase/knitting bag and it will be on the plane with me this week as I travel to a business conference. It is a perfect companion to my full-size NIV study version which I keep on my desk, and the colors and design are totally me.

A worthy investment in sprituality.

Hi im 12! i was given this book as i left primary and im now at secondary. Today im bored out of my head so i grab a bunch of grapes and the phone and head up to my room. I hate reading so i look for something to do. I remembered i got a bible so i picked it up to check i tout. I read the first page automaticaly thinking i would put it streight down but i couldnt help but read to the end of every page. The book is absolutly fab!! i love the way rob lacey uses slag terms and makes it fun to read. So here i am writing a review on it. it's gr8t!

However, no achievement could be as meaningful to me as the one I accomplished 10 minutes ago. I just finished reading the entire Student Bible, a project that I began almost 4 months ago. When I started at the beginning of Genesis, I didn't think I would ever finish the entire Bible, due to previous failed attempts to read the regular Bible. Last summer I bought the Women's Devotional Bible. It has been the most helpful Bible. Not only do I get my thought for the day, I've gotten to know the scriptures much better. I have A Quest Study Bible that everyone keeps telling me they want!! I have never had a Bible so hard to keep in my possession. It seems that whenever I open it “POOF” it disappears into someone else's hands because they are so intrigued by it. All of a sudden whoever is in the room, at Bible study or even my own family gatherings, huddles around this Bible looking it over. The next comment is inevitable--“I've GOT to get a Bible like this!” EVEN FROM UNBELIEVERS!!! They say, “Now I would read a Bible like this.” Even my own 14-year-old nephew read it--for enjoyment, on his own, no prompting from me at all . . . I love that the people I disciple can use the same Bible I do and it isn't over their heads. Yet someone who had studied at length can still glean a wealth of information from this study Bible. I've been a Christian for 20 years, and love Bible study -- it is a passion. Yet every time I open my Quest Bible, I constantly hear myself saying, “I didn't know that!” or “I always wondered about that!” It's like dessert for my spirit!

Hi! What's up? Well, I am 13, a female and love Jesus! He's the best! Anyway, I was writing to say thanx for the new NIV Teen Study Bible. I learned and understand the Bible having a great time! Also, I bring it to school and it is such an easy witnessing tool because of its BRIGHT colors! This girl asked me what book I had in my hand, and I told her it was my Bible. She said oh, it looks really cool. Of course I said it is, but then the teacher interrupted us. So, thanx for the cool, bright-colored new Bible.

I just wanted to give you some feedback on the Teen Study Bible. I gave a copy of this Bible to my 11-year-old son. My sister who watches my kids found it in his room and opened it up and began reading. She called me tonight to tell me that she has never seen a Bible like this one. She loved it and thought to herself, I need to find a Bible like this for adults, then she thought, why look for a different Bible when she was enjoying this one. She went home and found herself using examples she had read with her adult daughter. She couldn't stop talking about it and has already suggested it to at least three people in one day.

Life Application Study Bible

A few months ago another chap and I started a weekly Bible Study. He brought a study of Luke from the NIV Life Application Bible. As we have used it I became entranced with the footnotes; I liked them so well I bought the whole Bible.

I made a vow about a year ago to "conquer" Revelation. Thus far I had read the book, studied it with Barclay and am currently working through a forty-eight (seventy-two hours) audiotape series with David Hocking.

When I returned from Promise Keepers in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago I had no seat companions, the ground was under cloud cover and I had my Bible with me. So, I opened to Revelation 1 and started reading and reading the footnotes along with the text. I went through thirteen chapters by the time I reached my destination, Fresno, CA. WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT WAS THAT I UNDERSTOOD WHAT I HAD READ. Reading and comprehending is not one of my gifts. I need added illumination, highlighting, defining, spotlighting, etc.

My purpose in writing is just to relate this most positive experience with my Bible Study using this book and report how very grateful I am to whoever did it and to you for printing and distributing this version. Now I am a very pleased person.

Hello, I am 13 years old. I just wanted to say how much The Adventure Bible has helped me in my life. I was never interested in the bible until now. I was with my friend on my way home from my cabin, when she started talking about how much she liked her Adventure Bible. I started reading it. I was amazed! I understood it. I really took interest in it and asked for it for my birthday.

My mom took me to look at all the children's Bible. We wanted a Catholic Bible originally, because that is my religion. We looked at the Precious Moments Catholic Bible, but I didn't understand it as much as The Adventure Bible, and it didn't entice me to read it like The Adventure Bible did. So, my mom got me The Adventure Bible.

Now I read my Bible almost every day. I greatly enjoy all the time I spend reading the Bible instead of dreading every second of it because I didn't understand it. I was especially impressed with the “Did You Know”, “Let's Live It”, “Words to Remember”, and “Life in the Bible Times” parts. Thank you for helping me understand what Jesus Christ, Mary, and all the characters are all about! I have a new point of view on life. I have a life of serving Jesus Christ, our Lord.

I have several of your study Bibles. I want to tell you that they have helped me to understand God’s Word. The footnotes help me get a good background of the passage and other related passages. Reading the Bible has become more interesting to me because I can finally understand. It (the Bible) is more meaningful to me when I can know what I am reading. I am impressed with the work of your translators. It seems to be accurate. I have learned some ancient Greek and checked your work. It is very good.
