Grand Rapids, Mich., Sept 24, 2008
– Camy Tang, author of the popular Sushi Series, won the 2008 American Christian Fiction Writers’ award for best book in the debut author category for her novel Sushi for One? (Zondervan 2007). Tang’s accomplishment was honored at the annual ACFW award ceremony on September 20, 2008 in Minneapolis, Minn. Tang's unique style of “romance with a kick of wasabi” diversifies Christian fiction and expands the boundaries of chick-lit. In a 2007 review of Sushi For One? in Publishers Weekly called the book a “sassy narrative” and said it was “refreshing to have Tang's voice in Christian fiction.”

Tang continues the Sushi Series in Only Uni (Zondervan 2008) and with her latest book Single Sashimi (Zondervan 2008) that the Romantic Times said contains “realistic situations” and said Tang has “a gift for creating in-depth and meaningful characters.”

A Hawaiian native from the island of O’ahu, Camy currently lives in San Jose, California with her husband and their dog, Snickers. She maintains a blog at http://camys-loft.blogspot.com/ where you can catch up with Camy, read short stories and book reviews and find the schedule of her current blog tour for Single Sashimi.
