Camy Tang nominated for American Christian Fiction Writers’ Award in Lit Category
Grand Rapids, Mich., July 28, 2009 – Camy Tang, author of the popular Sushi Series, is a finalist for the American Christian Fiction Writers’ award for best book of 2009 in the lit category. Her novel, Single Sashimi (Zondervan 2008) is the third installment in the Asian chick-lit series. The winner will be announced at the annual ACFW conference in Denver, Co in September.
Tang won the 2008 ACFW award for best book in the debut author category for her novel Sushi for One? (Zondervan 2007), the first book in the Sushi Series.
Tang’s unique style of “romance with a kick of wasabi” diversifies Christian fiction and expands the boundaries of chick-lit. According to the Romantic Times’ review of Single Sashimi, Tang has “a gift for creating in-depth and meaningful characters.”
A Hawaiian native from the island of O’ahu, Tang currently lives in San Jose, California with her husband and their dog, Snickers. She maintains a blog at camys-loft.blogspot.com where you can catch up with her, read short stories and book reviews.
