More information about PrayerIn Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference? Yancey, an award-winning and bestselling author, probes the most fundamental, challenging and deeply rewarding aspect of a personal relationship with God. What is prayer? How does it work? And most importantly, does it work? Prayer explores the mysterious intersection where God and humans meet and relate.

“Philip Yancey is one of the most respected and insightful Christian writers of his generation, and it’s a privilege to partner with him as a Zondervan author,” said Scott Bolinder, executive vice president and publisher at Zondervan. “Each of Philip’s books takes readers on a spiritual journey as he explores an aspect of his personal faith and asks tough questions that many Christians struggle with. Prayer is one of his finest works to date and is deeply deserving of this honor.”

Eligible titles for the 2007 Quill Book Awards met at least one of the following criteria: a starred review in Publishers Weekly, positioned on the Publishers Weekly Bestseller List or a special selection of the selection committee.
