New Interactive Books in Bestselling The Beginner’s Bible® Series Offer Unique Educational Benefits for Young Readers
With Nearly 6 million Copies Sold, The Beginner’s Bible® Continues to Develop Innovative New Titles

More information about My Sing-Along Bible GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., November 19, 2008—Zonderkidz™ will release two new titles in the Mission City Press bestselling series-The Beginner’s Bible®, with My Sing-Along Bible (February 2009), a book and CD with classic sing-along favorites for preschoolers, and All Aboard with Noah! (March 2009), a special book with 50 fun Lift-the-Flaps that teach kids about the story of Noah and the Ark. Parents and educators can use both new titles to help stimulate different senses in young readers.

My Sing-Along Bible is a hardcover book with an audio CD featuring eight classic songs, including “Jesus Loves Me,” “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands,” and “This Little Light of Mine.” The goal is to teach children important themes from the Bible in an easy-to-remember format. My Sing-Along Bible is intended for kids ages 2 to 5.

"Music and singing are so important in early childhood development and My Sing-Along Bible is a resource parents and educators can use to help develop listening and singing skills with their children,” says Alicia Mey, Vice President of Marketing for Zonderkidz. “In addition to the CD, each song includes a story, illustrations, song lyrics and Scripture references.”

All Aboard with Noah! features an interactive approach to learning with the popular art of long-time illustrator of The Beginner’s Bible®, Kelly Pulley. This Lift-a-Flap book has tabs that reveal more about the animals of Noah’s Ark from the book of Genesis.

All Aboard with Noah! is developed for children ages 2 to 5, offering young readers an interactive, fun way to learn about a favorite Bible story.

“This book is a resource for educators and parents to help children develop hand and eye coordination while learning the story of Noah’s Ark,” Mey adds.

My Sing-Along Bible (ISBN: 978-0-310-71727-0) illustrated by Kelly Pulley will be available in hardcover for $12.99 at retailers nationwide in February 2009. All Aboard with Noah! (ISBN: 978-0-310-71726-3) illustrated by Kelly Pulley will be available at retailers nationwide for $9.99 in March 2009.

These two new titles are the latest in The Beginner's Bible® family of resources, with something for every age and stage of early childhood development. The Beginner's Bible® collection of quality storybooks and Bibles are based on the illustration style and characters of The Beginner's Bible®, the bestselling children’s Bible that has sold nearly 6 million copies and is published in 20 languages worldwide.

“Since 1989, The Beginner's Bible® has been bringing Bible stories to life in a way that is fun, engaging, and relevant to kids ages six and under,” says Sandi Shelton, president of Mission City Press, The Beginner's Bible® brand owner based in Franklin, TN. “We are proud to introduce, in partnership with Zonderkidz, these two new books because we know they will inspire children and families to learn favorite Bible stories in interactive ways.”
