Audio Edition of 2007 Christian Book of the Year Named Audies® Finalist

More information about Ever After GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., February 11, 2008 – The audio edition of Ever After by bestselling author Karen Kingsbury, recipient of the prestigious 2007 Christian Book of the Year by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, is a finalist for an Audies Award by the Audio Publishers Association (APA).

Ever After, published by Zondervan, is a finalist in the Inspirational/Faith-Based Fiction category. The audio version of the book was narrated by Kathy Garver, winner of two Audies for her performance as a narrator and work as a director. This is the first time a Karen Kingsbury title has been nominated for an Audies Award.

"Karen Kingsbury is an amazingly talented fiction writer and we're blessed to have her among our distinguished group of authors," says Scott Bolinder, executive vice president and publisher, Zondervan. "This nomination underscores the quality of her story-telling and the drama she captures in her writing."

Hosted by APA, The Audies are the only awards program in the United States devoted entirely to honoring spoken word entertainment. Winners in all 30 categories will be announced May 30, 2008 at The Audies Gala held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, where performers, authors, producers, publishers, and media will celebrate the year’s best audiobook productions.

Finalists for Audiobook of the Year, which recognizes the audiobook that has made the most significant impact on the audio publishing industry, will be announced next month.
