Grand Rapids, Mich., May 17, 2007 – Zondervan is proud to announce the signing of an exclusive development deal with Lightworks Producing Group (LPG) to create a prime-time special based on bestselling author Ace Collins’ book Stories Behind the Best-Loved Songs of Christmas. LPG is a multifaceted television production company and a unit of vertically integrated Lightworks Enterprises, Inc., and has developed award-winning network programming.

The Stories Behind the Best-Loved Songs of Christmas special will feature stirring live performances by top recording artists and celebrities. The back stories of how our favorite Christmas songs came to life will be told in a mix of styles: montages of footage, photos, artwork and VO narration, interviews and some intriguing re-creations.
