What happened to exegetical preaching? This conference has moved away from the center being Gods authoritative Word the Bible to a story-telling hour for pastors. Guys like Dan Kimball and Rob Bell make me wonder if scripture is really as important as the story they have to tell. Reading Acts 4 this morning I see the power in preaching the resurrection and praying together and the need for community. Gods word still speaks today we need as pastors to get into it. The conference seems to have gotten lazy when it comes to scripture. There are pastors who still believe and depend on the power of the scriptures coupled with the Holy Spirit to change lives and situations. Nat Pastors Conference needs to turn in that direction or what has happened will continue on which is the end of these conferences. Bring Back Gods word and exegetical preaching.

Came back for a 2nd year at NPC after 2007s great convention. 2008 was even better! Only 1 complaint. Willimon gave such a bad account of the laity, right after rbell had us forgive them!
