Responsibilities
• Achieve 100% of the revenue and profit goals for the targeted National Accounts
• Give weekly feedback and reports to the Global General Trade Vice President
• Construct sales strategies and plans to achieve market share objectives in each account for the respective product groups
• Participate in the planning of promotions for the General Trade Market
• Give forecast and sales projections for seasonal promotions, new releases and large orders
• Manage cooperative advertising budgets and expense budgets
• Be able to sell a concept, and cast a vision for key Zondervan products and initiatives
• Work interdepartmentally within the company to achieve objectives
• Prepare for, and facilitate strategic meetings with key customers
• Work with minimal supervision, consulting with Global General Trade Vice President on unusual matters
Knowledge/Experience
• BA or BS degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent work experience
• 4 yrs. professional Marketing & Sales experience
• Understanding of basic business and retail finance
• Understanding of retail book market
• Knowledge of publishing industry
