Full Biography

In his role at Zondervan, Joe develops strategies that provide pastors and church leaders with industry-leading resources to strengthen and grow their ministries. Specifically, he is responsible for curriculum and Bible engagement publishing and marketing, Zondervan’s new online community tool - The City, resourcing not-for-profit ministries, executing Zondervan’s direct-to-church business, developing and enhancing publishing partnerships with church-based ministry organizations, and overall execution and business development for Zondervan events.

Along with his 20 years of service to Zondervan, Joe has provided organizational, publishing, and marketing leadership for Family Christian Stores, Foster and Gallagher, the Willow Creek Association, and Minnesota Public Radio. Additionally, Joe has served as an ordained pastor and co-founder of a not-for-profit ministry dedicated to providing spiritual guidance to pastors and the congregations they serve.
