Full Biography

Chip Brown is responsible for leading Zondervan Bibles strategy, editorial and marketing for print and digital products, with the goal to retain Zondervan’s reputation as the leading Bible publisher in market share and innovation.

Chip has 20 years experience in producing, publishing and marketing for television, film, Internet, live theatre, radio, animation, music and graphic design, in both creative and business roles in start ups, fortune 500 companies and not-for-profits. He has served in producing and marketing positions at The Walt Disney Studios, and as General Manager of Lightsource.com on Broadcast.com and on Yahoo!, where he worked with industry leading User Interface designers and engineers on the world’s leading Internet broadcasting site.

He was also Executive Director of Creative Affairs and Original Programming at Gaylord Digital, working with pure play Internet companies such as Musicforce.com (Christian music) and songs.com, as well as “click & mortar” companies such as CMT International, Word Entertainment and Myrrh Records. Prior to joining Zondervan, Chip most recently served as Senior Vice President of North American Ministries at Walk Thru the Bible, where he led the Marketing, Media, Publishing and Live Seminars divisions, receiving NRB Ministry Website of the Year and multiple Awards of Excellence from the Evangelical Press Association.
